Stampendous

Glitter!!

I have been wanting to use this cupcake stamp for months!!!  It is the perfect stamp to add a little glitter to :) This was a fairly simple card,  first I embossed the card base.  I cannot recall the brand of the pattern paper I used but I cut 3 strips and cut the bottom into a banner.  The cupcake is from Basic Grey/Hero Arts - Picnic, I used Copis to color the image.  Then I used Art Glitter Designer Dries Clear Glue with the Ultra Fine Metal Tip.  I used the following glitters:  Ranger Stickles Dry Glitter - Waterfall, Ranger Stickles Dry Glitter - Yellow, and Ranger Stickles Dry Glitter - Thistle.

Flip It Card

I have had my eye on this Sizzix Flip It Die for awhile now.  I have made these cards using the spellbinders dies and there are pro's and con's for each of them.  The Sizzix die is one quick run through your machine whereas with your Spellbinders die you are scoring and running the die through the machine numerous times in different sections.  The Sizzix Die is only one shape, they have others but that can get pretty pricey.  With your Spellbinders Dies you have MANY options and you are using the dies on various projects unlike the one use with the Sizzix Flip It Die.

Quilted Card

I had an empty house today!!!  I was one of the lucky ones who did not have to work today :)  Hubby had to work and the kiddos had school.  Since I had a quite house I was able to work on some cards.  Here is a quilted card that I think came out beautiful if I do say so :)

I saw a video on these lovely ladies at DIY Crafts.  I just thought they were so cute but I am not a sewer...  So I went in jointly with a family member to sew them together and then I could do the rest.  I think they turned out darling!!!
