Christmas Topiary

I saw this Fall Topiary on YouTube by http://www.shellybailey.blogspot.com/ and thought it would be the cutest Christmas decoration.  I am in charge of decorating our department at work this year and have 2 of these completed.  I started thinking this would also be a great gift for the neighbors.  It is a little time consuming cutting all the paper but really easy to do while watching tv or get the kids involved and make it a family project.

For this topiary I used Basic Grey Nordic Holiday paper and Bazzill paper for fill in.  Cut the strips into 6 x 1/2 strips and curl the paper into circles with a bone folder, similar to curling ribbon.  Take a small pin to secure the two edges into a circle and insert into foam ball.  I was able to locate these foam topiaries at Hobby Lobby.

I added some Christmas picks to decorate the bottom and this is what I came up with!!  I am not sure what base I like better...

Starting today we have Free Shipping on all U.S. orders over $50.00.  Make sure you have all of your supplies for your Christmas Cards and decorations!!!
