First Christmas Card of the Year!

I am finally settled in the new house and have almost finished unpacking my Scrap Room!  I have so many new products I wanted to play with so I found a small spot on my desk to have some fun.  For this card I used Lawn Fawn Joy to the Woods stamp and die set as well as Mama Elephant Tags A Lot - Creative Cuts.  I am taking an Online Copics Class that has really helped me use my Copics the right way.  I added some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish it off!

Moving / Closing Store

After a busy few months and long consideration I have decided to close my online store after moving out of state and not wanting to go through the process again in California.  I am hoping that once we are settled I can get my room ready and get creative again and start posting more regularly, we will see :)  With a full time job, 2 active kiddos and a loving husband I have a lot on my plate!

Heartfelt Creations - Birthday Card

Here is a 6x6 card I made using items from the Once Upon a Time Collection as well as the Majestic Morning Collection.  With one sweep through your machine you have a nice pile of flowers to work with!  I used Colorbox Chalk Ink and Viva Decor Stamp Paint to give the flowers a nice shimmer.  I sprinkled a little Art Glitter to the center of the flowers for that additional sparkle.

A Little Ray of Sunshine

I was able to break free and retreat with a few good friends a little while back.  I am just now getting to taking some pictures of my projects and uploading them on my computer.  One of these days my life will slow down... but right now I am enjoying every minute of it!!!

Accordion Pumpkin and Letters by SVG Cuts

Life is always crazy this time of year!  I wish I could post more often but sometimes there is just not enough time in the day...  I did get a chance to cut out these letters to spell out FALL on my Silhouette a few weeks ago.  This is a great file by SVG Cuts that you can use for just about any season or for any occasion.  I plan on cutting out some additional words in the next few weeks so I will try to get those posted as well.

I also made this great accordion pumpkin!  When I was searching on the Silhoutte Online store for a file the pumpkins were REALLY small.  Luckily I ran across this version on Pinterest (I think the instructions are from Archivers).  I really wish they had a cut file available for this size of a pumpkin.  I am so lazy now!! :)

Now Carrying Lawn Fawn!!!

Our first shipment of Lawn Fawn has arrived and let me tell you, these products are super cute!

I whipped up a cute card using winter sparrows stamp set, winter sparrows lawn cuts, and peace joy love petite paper pack.

I stamped the birds with Memento Black and colored them with copics.  I went over the birds accessories with Wink of Stella Brush - Clear (which will be arriving in stock in about a week!)

Katy Sue Designs - Tunnel Card

What a cute card, so much dimension in an A2 size card!  This card is offered as a download at http://www.katysuedesigns.com/.  I am not much for fussy cutting but I think it is worth it for this card.  I added Flower Soft for a great snow look.  Southlake Scrapbooking now carries the Flower Soft line and can be purchased HERE!

Christmas Side Step Card

This was such a fun card to make!  The sleigh and trees were cut with the Silhouette Cameo.  First I colored the trees with Viva Decor Paper Soft - Moss Green but it was too light.  I then went over the trees with Clearsnap Color Box Chalk Ink - Forest Moss and that gave the trees great dimension.  I tried skipping the first step and just use the chalk ink but it just came out a solid color, just kind of blah...  For the sky I also used Viva Decor Paper Soft - Cobalt Blue.  For the snow I used VersaMark with Ranger Sticky Powder and Dry Stickles - Star Dust.

Time to Start Thinking About Christmas Cards!

This years cards will be as easy as cutting the card faces from Heartfelt Creations Christmas Card Collection Paper and adding some embellishments to finish them off, to very detailed layered cards that take a few hours to complete (this is why I have to start so early in the year!).

Here is a quick 6 x 6 card using the Heartfelt Creations Christmas Card Collection Pack,   I added some Stickles and stamped the greeting using Hero Arts - Holiday Cheer.

Black & White Christmas Card - Bazzill

It is never to early to start making Christmas cards right :)  The Bazzill 6x6 paper multipacks make some quick and easy cards to make your card making stress free.  I am usually a traditional color girl but I really like this black and white card.  The label on top was made from my Silhouette and I embossed the Hero Arts - Sparkle with Happiness stamp with white embossing powder.  The stamp inside is from Papertrey Ink.

Impression Obsession - Thank You Card

I am still trying to recoup from last weekends retreat...  I have managed to get the camera out and take some pictures of the cards I was making while enjoying my much needed girl time!

I got to play with some of the Impression Obsession stamps that we recently started carrying and I LOVE them!!  The options are endless in making your own background paper.

Happy Birthday!

I needed to whip up a card for one of my team members at work for her birthday tomorrow.  Everyone at work really likes my cards but it is always so hard to have 20+ people sign an A2 size card.  I decided to make a 6x6 card and since I don't have to mail it, why not add some dimension!
